Jack Sadler - Vice President and Director of Communications
Jack Sadler has been involved with Dogwood Stable since 1976 (the year he graduated from Washington and Lee), when he worked for trainer Frank Alexander and groomed a filly named Moona's Dust - who was owned by Dogwood! In 1981 he left the race track and went to work as the assistant trainer on Dogwood's farm in Greenville, Georgia, and made the move to Aiken when the operation relocated in 1986. He moved into the office in 1990, trading his lead shank for the telephone and keyboard (and has recently embrassed Twitter). Jack and Susan are the parents of young adults - J.T. and Callie.
Bill Victor - Treasurer
Originally hailing from Lexington, Kentucky, Bill Victor worked for Nelson Bunker Hunt's Bluegrass Farm for three years before moving to Aiken and joining the Dogwood staff in 1991. He's a graduate of UK and a huge supporter of the Wildcats! Bill is responsible for all aspects of the finances of Dogwood Stable and the various partnerships. Bill and Liz have young twins - Coleman and Ava, and a toddler named Lila Rose.
Mary Jane Howell - Public Relations Director
Mary Jane has spent her working life in the Thoroughbred industry after falling in love with Secretariat at age 13. She has worked in the press boxes of the NYRA tracks and Atlantic City Race Course, was a groom for the late Hall of Fame trainer P.G. Johnson, and worked at Robert Levy's Muirfield East for 10 years. She came to Dogwood in 1998 and her duties include editing the Dogwood newsletter, managing the Dogwood website, handling press releases and a multitude of other pr duties (and she loved doing research for Cot's books!). Mary Jane has a son named Gabriel.
Missy Poe - Executive Secretary
Originally from Ohio, Missy, her husband John, and sons Jerrod and Joshua moved to Aiken in 1990. When Missy first started with Dogwood in 2003 she was the Database Manager, but has been in her current position since 2008. We still call her our "Computer Guru," though! Missy attended her first Kentucky Derby in 2004 (Limehouse) and has been waiting for a return trip to Churchill Downs ever since. A client recently asked Missy where she was from because he couldn't identify her accent, commenting it sounded somewhat international. Missy simply replied, "growing up in Ohio, I did have to cross the river into West Virginia when I married."
Stanley Kuhn - Sales Representative

A South Carolina native, Stanley lives in Columbia with his wife Ginny and young daughter Duncan. He’s a graduate of the University of South Carolina and worked for many years with both Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley in their financial securities departments. He puts his strong background in financing to good use with our partnership shares. His passion for racing brought him to Dogwood in 2009, and how could we not embrace a man who has been to every Kentucky Derby since 1991? Keeneland is his favorite track and he tries to get there for either the spring or fall meetings (both, if he’s lucky).
