Jack Sadler - Vice President and Director of Communications
Jack Sadler has been involved with Dogwood Stable since 1976 (the year he graduated from Washington and Lee), when he worked for trainer Frank Alexander and groomed a filly named Moona's Dust - who was owned by Dogwood! In 1981 he left the race track and went to work as the assistant trainer on Dogwood's farm in Greenville, Georgia, and made the move to Aiken when the operation relocated in 1986. He moved into the office in 1990, trading his lead shank for the telephone and keyboard (and has recently embrassed Twitter). Jack and Susan are the parents of young adults - J.T. and Callie.
Bill Victor - Treasurer
Originally hailing from Lexington, Kentucky, Bill Victor worked for Nelson Bunker Hunt's Bluegrass Farm for three years before moving to Aiken and joining the Dogwood staff in 1991. He's a graduate of UK and a huge supporter of the Wildcats! Bill is responsible for all aspects of the finances of Dogwood Stable and the various partnerships. Bill and Liz have three children - Coleman and Ava (twins) and Lila Rose.
Missy Poe - Executive Secretary
Originally from Ohio, Missy, her husband John, and sons Jerrod and Joshua moved to Aiken in 1990. When Missy first started with Dogwood in 2003 she was the Database Manager, but has been in her current position since 2008. We still call her our "Computer Guru," though! Missy attended her first Kentucky Derby in 2004 (Limehouse) and has been waiting for a return trip to Churchill Downs ever since. A client recently asked Missy where she was from because he couldn't identify her accent, commenting it sounded somewhat international. Missy simply replied, "growing up in Ohio, I did have to cross the river into West Virginia when I married."
